Ted Uhlaender (Theodore Otto Uhlaender) was born on October 21, 1940 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1965 for the Minnesota Twins. In 1966, his rookie year, he hit .226 with 2 home runs and 22 RBI. Uhlaender played for the Minnesota Twins, Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Ted Uhlaender's best season was 1969, when he knocked in 62 runs.
