Ted Provost (Ted R. Provost) was born on July 26, 1948 in Navarre, Ohio. After going to high school at Fairless (Navarre, OH), Provost attended Ohio State University. Provost made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 2 year career.
