Ted Popson (Theodore Paul Popson) was born on September 10, 1966 in Granada Hills, California. After going to high school at Tahoe Truckee (Truckee, CA), Popson attended the College of Marin and Portland State University. Popson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1994 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1996 was Ted Popson's best year, as he caught 6 TD passes.
