Ted Plumridge (Theodore Earle Plumridge) was born on September 1, 1901 in Brooklyn, New York. After going to high school at Manual Training (Brooklyn, NY) and Marquand Prep (Brooklyn, NY), Plumridge attended Colgate University and St. John's University. Plumridge made his professional debut in the AFLG in 1926 with the Brooklyn Horsemen. He played for the Brooklyn Horsemen for his entire 1 year career.
