Ted Ossowski (Theodore Leroy Ossowski) was born on May 12, 1922 in Beatrice, Nebraska. After going to high school at Beatrice (NE), Ossowski attended Oregon State University and the University of Southern California. Ossowski made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the New York Yankees. He played for the New York Yankees for his entire 1 year career.
