Ted Mitchell (Frederick Brice Mitchell) was born on August 4, 1905 in Madison, New Jersey. After going to high school at Madison (NJ), Mitchell attended Bucknell University. Mitchell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Orange Tornadoes. He played for the Newark Tornadoes and Orange Tornadoes over the course of his 2 year career.
