[edit] Biography

Born on January 4, 1976 in Lomita, California, Ted Lilly (Theodore Roosevelt Lilly) played for the Montreal Expos, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 8 year career. Lilly broke into the bigs on May 14, 1999 with the Montreal Expos, and put up a 5.37 ERA in 120.2 innings pitched in 2001, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Ted Lilly's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2006, when he posted a 4.31 ERA, won 15 games and struck out 160 batters. However, others believe that it was 2004, when he posted a 4.06 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 168 batters.
