Ted Lapka (Theodore A. Lapka) was born on April 20, 1920 in Hawthorne, Illinois. Lapka attended Depaul University and St. Ambrose University. Lapka made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1944 was Ted Lapka's best year.
