Ted Ford (Theodore Henry Ford) was born on February 7, 1947 in Vineland, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on April 7, 1970 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1971, his rookie year, he hit .194 with 2 home runs and 14 RBI. Ford played for the Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Ted Ford's best season was 1972, when he knocked in 50 runs.
