Ted Doyle

Ted Doyle (Theodore Dennison Doyle) was born on January 12, 1914 in Curtis, Nebraska. Doyle attended the University of Nebraska. Doyle made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, chicago/pittsburgh and Philadelphia/Pittsburgh over the course of his 8 year career.
Ted Doyle played college football for Nebraska between 1935-37 and is a member of the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame
Most people believe that 1945 was Ted Doyle's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
