Ted Cieslak (Thaddeus Walter Cieslak) was born on November 22, 1912 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1944 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1944, his rookie year, he hit .245 with 2 home runs and 11 RBI. Cieslak played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 1 year career.
