Taft Reed (Taft Reed) was born on June 12, 1942 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After going to high school at Rowan (Hattiesburg, MS), Reed attended Jackson State University. Reed made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 1 year career.
