Tad Weed (Thurlow Weed) was born on January 18, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio. After going to high school at Grandview Heights (OH), Weed attended Ohio State University. Weed made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
