Tad Crawford
[edit] BiographyAcquired: Lions' 3rd round selection (17th overall) in the 2007 CFL Draft. College: Crawford finished up a brilliant four-year career at Columbia University (2003-2006) earning First-Team All-Ivy honours last season after leading the team in tackles and finishing third in the conference. The Burlington, Ontario native was the only freshman in 2003 to play in all 10 games for Columbia. He averaged more than 100 tackles in each of his last three seasons. Personal: Tad attended M.M. Robinson High School where he was a four-sport athlete for the Rams. He was captain of his football team for three years and was also voted Male Athlete of the Year three consecutive years. In 2002, Tad was selected as the Senior Football Player of the Year, an All-Canada East All-Star as well as the Hamilton Spectator Athlete of the Year. He majored in Architecture at Columbia.
