Tacks Latimer (Clifford Wesley Latimer) was born on November 30, 1877 in Loveland, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on October 1, 1898 for the New York Giants. Latimer played for the New York Giants, Louisville Colonels, Pittsburgh Pirates, Baltimore Orioles and Brooklyn Superbas over the course of his 5 year career.
