Syd O'Brien

Syd O'Brien (Sydney Lloyd O'Brien) was born on February 18, 1944 in Compton, California. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1969 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1969, his rookie year, he hit .243 with 9 home runs and 29 RBI. O'Brien played for the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, California Angels and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 4 year career.
