Suppan inks deal with Brewers

NLCS MVP and World Series Champion Jeff Suppan, will be leaving the St. Louis Cardinals . He has signed a four-year free agent contract with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Bad deal for the Brewers. Suppan is an average pitcher at best. He got hot in the post season, and cashed in. He is, however, being overpaid by the Brewers.

Everyone in the offseason is being overpaid. It's unbelievable! Suppan is decent, but four to five years is a little much. Hey, the Brewers are desperate.

If the Brewers are desperate, what does that say about the Cubs offering Ted Lilly the same amount of money? Suppan's better than Lilly.

Suppan's agent was trying to get a deal done with the Mets, but was informed there were no openings on the Triple A staff.

Teams need pitching, and pitchers are going to the bank because of it. Period. Suppan is not a $10 mil per year pitcher.
