Suggestion to the Admins: Add a Page Visit Counter for Authors
With more and more article submissions to the 'Chair (which is great by the way!) is unfortunately leading to more articles not even being read here.
That perhaps might be counterproductive to those with an interest of building membership and increasing article circulation.
For the sake of the newer guys posting articles to the 'Chair, is it possible to at least put a counter somewhere on the article page to let the author at least know that people have visited their page?
It would also let authors know a little more about the community assessment of their work. No votes, no comments and no page visits simply means nobody was there at that time period to read the article. However, no votes, no comments but the page was visited may send a subtle message to improve content/interest/appropriateness/etc. to the author without degenerating into flame threads.
Just a thought.
Thanks.
