Surfing the Internet can be a fun and interesting escapade. It is full of valuable and entertaining information, videos, pictures, stories, and blogs. Some blogs are insightful, others are downright idiotic. After realizing such carelessness, I have decided to point them out. It’s a new segment I call “Stupid Quotes From Stupid People.” This one comes from YAHOO! message board:
“The suns really believe that they are good enough to win it all…..they WILL NOT defeat the Mavs, Jazz, Lakers, Spurs, in a seven game series. It just will not happen…The suns are not a championship caliber team and only suns fans wearing their “rose-colored glasses” are in denial about this along with the Phoenix Suns. Run up the gaudy record against mediocre teams and get ousted in the playoffs by the big boys, probably in the second round…..boohoo!.”
Interesting. So the fact that the Suns made it to the Western Conference Finals the past two years, have the two-time (consecutive) MVP, former Coach of the Year, the Most Improved Player (Diaw-2006), the most dominating one-two punch int he NBA (Nash/Stoudemire), the strongest bench in the last three years, and an average winning deficit of nearly 10 points for the entire season (including the tougher teams) doesn’t matter I suppose?
