Stupid Finish! It Doesn't Matter

Are they losing it?

Everyone should be thinking that, because the New York Mets have lost four straight games.

This isn't good for a team that is the National League East leaders.

Going up against the Philadelphia Phillies shouldn't have been this hard, well it shouldn't have been hard at all.

Before the New York Mets lost last night to the Philadelphia Phillies, they were 3.5 games up. With the lost now the Phillies are creeping, and the Mets are slipping.

This doesn't do anything for the New York Mets, but make them worse. They have a good enough team to make the World Series, but they can't play consistent. Their line-up has been off this whole series, and the bullpen has fallen apart.

New York Mets short stop Jose Reyes has been hitless in two of their last three games. Outfielder Lasting Milledge hasn't been able to produces at the plate, and sometimes he struggles on the field.

It should be a surprise that the New York Mets are suffering from being inconsistent. With the talented line-up they have, it's just unbelievable how they are playing.

It's be proven if Jose Reyes doesn't get on base his team doesn't win. This has been the factor this series. He hasn't be effective, and their line-up doesn't have the confidences.

The bullpen is another reason why the New York Mets are in a surprising slump. Game two of the series against the Phillies, Tom Glavine was great. When Glavine came out of the game, the Mets bullpen took over. They gave away the game, and cost the Mets the series.

It wasn't second baseman Marlon Anderson fault. The New York Mets played horrible, and they have other players that did worse.

The New York Mets need to get back on track, because it could be over for them.

This series is important, because the Phillies are competing for the lead in the National League East as well. The New York Mets need to take a stand, and succeed and they struggled doing that.

They can't get swept, because it's not going to look good.

The New York Mets need to enter the post-season on a good note, because they can struggle if not. Building confidences, that should be their goal. Not losing the next series against the Atlanta Braves is what everyone is worried about.

It's this, it's that, it's everything.

The New York Met have fallen apart over the last couple of games, they need to fix themselves up.

It doesn't matter how the game ended, if the New York Mets would have produces they wouldn't have that problem.

The Phillies would like to thank Marlon Anderson for his efforts in the Phils' win yesterday. THe Phils also hope that Marlon keeps up the good work.
