Stu Clarkson (Stuart Lenox Clarkson) was born on July 4, 1919 in Corpus Christi, Texas. After going to high school at (Corpus Christi, TX), Clarkson attended Corpus Christi and Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Kingsville. Clarkson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1946 was Stu Clarkson's best year, as he picked off 3 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
