Stu Clarke (William Stuart Clarke) was born on January 24, 1906 in San Francisco, California. He made his Major League debut on July 17, 1929 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1929, his rookie year, he hit .264 with 2 home runs and 21 RBI. Clarke played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 2 year career.
