Stop Playing This Song!

There was a posting about sports songs that made me think about this. Every time I hear Rock and Roll pt 2 -- the songs with the horns and then everyone goes "HEY!" I get sick to my stomach. Apparently most NBA arenas haven't heard that Gary Glitter has been arrested repeatedly for child porn. Yuck. Stop playing this guy's song. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/4451992.stm

The dude's name is Gary Glitter. Was the child porn thing really a surprise? That's like Sean Combs getting arrested for marijuana when he was still named Puff Daddy.

Oh please, this being the Year of the Arrested Player, the song being played at all of the arenas should be a singer who has also been arrested.

I still remember this song coming on in the 4th quarter of a furious Knick comeback in the 90's at MSG. You could almost feel the win coming when this song started. too bad about the sicko aspect of Glitter.

I dis in the end, I lost 21-20 in one game (1/3 on 2pt conversions). I didn't realise I was 21-20 down with seconds to go - I ought to have gone for one... Oh well... Another annoying one was on NHL Faceoff 2000, if you were winning in the last minute and at home, the game would play "Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!" Even if you had five stoppages, EVERY TIME, that was played... And drawing until then was not an option Christof! (It was the most brilliant game, it always matched you. I was 5-0 down to Nashville after 2, 5-3 down with thirty seconds to go, tied 5-5 with 0.8 seconds remaining (whilst shorthanded), then won 6-5 in overtime! Beat that for a comeback!)
