Born on May 26, 1872 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Stoney McGlynn (Ulysses Simpson Grant McGlynn) played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 3 year career. McGlynn broke into the bigs on September 20, 1906 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 2.91 ERA in 352.1 innings pitched in 1907, his rookie year.
