Born on December 13, 1964 in Victoria, British Columbia (Canada), Steve Wilson (Stephen Douglas Wilson) played for the Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 6 year career. Wilson broke into the bigs on September 16, 1988 with the Texas Rangers, and put up a 4.20 ERA in 85.2 innings pitched in 1989, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Steve Wilson's best season was 1989, when he posted a 4.20 ERA and struck out 65 batters.
