Steve Wagner (Steven John Wagner) was born on April 18, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Oconomowoc (WI), Wagner attended the University of Wisconsin. Wagner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1976 was Steve Wagner's best year.
