Steve Swisher

Steve Swisher (Steven Eugene Swisher) was born on August 9, 1951 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He made his Major League debut on June 14, 1974 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1974, his rookie year, he hit .214 with 5 home runs and 27 RBI. Swisher played for the Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Padres over the course of his 9 year career.
