Steve Sweeney (Steven Hollis Sweeney) was born on September 6, 1950 in Bozeman, Montana. After going to high school at Davis (CA), Sweeney attended Univeristy of California and Yakima Valley Community College. Sweeney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders for his entire 1 year career.
