Steve Stonebreaker (Steven T. Stonebreaker) was born on October 28, 1938 in Moline, Illinois. After going to high school at Utica (MI), Stonebreaker attended the University of Detroit Mercy. Stonebreaker made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Baltimore Colts, New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Steve Stonebreaker's best year.
