Steve Schubert (Steven William Schubert) was born on March 15, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York. After going to high school at Central (Manchester, NH), Schubert attended the University of Massachusetts. Schubert made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the New England Patriots. He played for the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1977 was Steve Schubert's best year, as he ran back a punt for a touchdown.
