[edit] Biography

Born on May 1, 1974 in Okinawa, Japan, Steve Randolph (Stephen LeCharles Randolph) played for the Arizona Diamondbacks for his entire 2 year career. Randolph broke into the bigs on March 31, 2003 with the Arizona Diamondbacks, and put up a 4.05 ERA in 60 innings pitched in 2003, his rookie year.

Randolph was one of the players named in baseball's Mitchell Report. According to the report, Randolph was introduced to former Mets clubhouse attendant Kirk Radomski by teammate Chris Donnels. Radomski claims that he sold Randolph HGH in either 2003 or 2004. Randolph's name, as well as a phone number, was found in Radomski's seized address book.

Randolph, like many players, declined to speak with investigators for the Mitchell Report.
