Steve Ramsey (Stephen Wayne Ramsey) was born on April 22, 1948 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at W.W. Samuell (Dallas, TX), Ramsey attended the University of North Texas. Ramsey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1976 was Steve Ramsey's best year, as he tossed 11 TDs.
