Steve Potter (Stephen John Potter) was born on November 6, 1957 in Bradford, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Fairview (Erie, PA), Potter attended the University of Virginia. Potter made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1983 was Steve Potter's best year.
