Steve Poole (Steven Poole) was born on August 25, 1952 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. After going to high school at Fort Oglethorpe (GA), Poole attended the University of Tennessee. Poole made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 1 year career.
