Born on July 30, 1914 in Springfield, Massachusetts, Steve Peek (Stephen George Peek) played for the New York Yankees for his entire 1 year career. Peek broke into the bigs on April 16, 1941 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 5.06 ERA in 80 innings pitched in 1941, his rookie year.
