[edit] Biography

[edit] Scouting Report

Despite his size, Novak wasn't your average power forward in college. Novak, at 6-10, is one of the deadliest three point shooters you'll ever see. He broke the Big East Conference record for three pointers in a season in his only season in the league (Marquette joined for the 2005-06 year).

He shot 46.4 percent (368-for-793) from behind the arc in his four-year college career and possesses what scouts call about as perfect of a shooting form as your can ask for. Although primarily a spot-up shooter in his early college career, he has taken the necessary steps to improve his dribbling ability. With work, he could own skills reminiscent of Dirk Nowitzki.

He is very hard to defend around the perimeter with his size, and his shot never changes no matter what situation he is put in. Although he's not likely to draw a lot of fouls in the NBA, he is as close to automatic from the free throw line as one could imagine. He will most likely fit into the NBA as a small forward if he is drafted.
