Steve Nelson

Steve Nelson (Steven Lee Nelson) was born on April 26, 1951 in Farmington, Minnesota. After going to high school at Anoka (MN), Nelson attended Augsburg College and North Dakota State University. Nelson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots for his entire 14 year career.
Most people believe that 1978 was Steve Nelson's best year, as he picked off 5 passes and recovered 4 opponents fumbles.
