Steve Neal (Stephen Neal) was born on October 9, 1976 in San Diego, California. After going to high school at San Diego (CA), Neal attended California State University at Bakersfield. Neal made his professional debut in the NFL in 2002 with the New England Patriots. He has played for the New England Patriots for his entire 4 year career.

Neal never played a down of college football, instead, he wrestled for the Roadrunners and is a Four-Time College All-American and two-time NCAA Division I Wrestling Champion and won the 1998 World Freestyle Wrestling Championship.
