Steve Kinney (Steve Arthur Kinney) was born on June 27, 1949 in San Jose, California. After going to high school at Willow Glen (San Jose, CA), Kinney attended San Jose City College and Utah State University. Kinney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 2 year career.
