Steve Kiefer (Steven George Kiefer) was born on October 18, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 3, 1984 for the Oakland Athletics. Kiefer played for the Oakland Athletics, Milwaukee Brewers and New York Yankees over the course of his 6 year career.
