Steve Kenney (Steven Faucette Kenney) was born on December 26, 1955 in Wilmington, North Carolina. After going to high school at Sanderson (Raleigh, NC), Kenney attended Clemson University. Kenney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions over the course of his 7 year career.
