[edit] Biography

Born on March 24, 1972 in Flushing, New York, Steve Karsay (Stefan Andrew Karsay) played for the Oakland Athletics, Cleveland Indians, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees and Texas Rangers over the course of his 11 year career. Karsay broke into the bigs on August 17, 1993 with the Oakland Athletics, and put up a 5.77 ERA in 132.2 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.
