Steve Junker (Steven Norbert Junker) was born on July 22, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio. After going to high school at Elder (Cincinnati, OH), Junker attended Xavier University. Junker made his professional debut in the NFL in 1957 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions and Washington Redskins over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1957 was Steve Junker's best year, as he caught 4 TD passes.
