Steve Joachim (William Steven Joachim) was born on March 27, 1952 in Newton Square, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Harverford (Harvertown, PA), Joachim attended Pennsylvania State University and Temple University. Joachim made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 1 year career.
