Steve Harkey (Stephen Douglas Harkey) was born on August 3, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia. After going to high school at Westminster Boys (Atlanta, GA), Harkey attended Georgia Institure of Technology. Harkey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1972 was Steve Harkey's best year.
