Born on June 6, 1957 in Bryan, Ohio, Steve Fireovid (Stephen John Fireovid) played for the San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago White Sox, Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers over the course of his 6 year career. Fireovid broke into the bigs on September 6, 1981 with the San Diego Padres.
