Steve Engel (Steven Engel) was born on October 13, 1947 in Englewood, Colorado. After going to high school at Engelwood (CO), Engel attended the University of Colorado. Engel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 1 year career.
