Steve Dignan (Stephen E. Dignan) was born on April 16, 1859 in Boston, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on June 1, 1880 for the Worcester Ruby Legs. Dignan played for the Worcester Ruby Legs and Boston Red Caps over the course of his 1 year career.
