Steve Demeter (Stephen Demeter) was born on January 27, 1935 in Homer City, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on July 29, 1959 for the Detroit Tigers. Demeter played for the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 2 year career.
