Steve Cox (Charles Steven Cox) was born on October 31, 1974 in Delano, California. He made his Major League debut on September 19, 1999 for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. In 2000, his rookie year, he hit .283 with 11 home runs and 35 RBI. Cox played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that Steve Cox's best season was 2002, when he slugged 16 home runs and knocked in 72 runs.
